FINLANDIA FOUNDATION OF COLORADO

ESTABLISHED 1965

The Finlandia Foundation of Colorado ("FFC") is an organization formed in 1965 dedicated to the support and preservation of Finnish culture in the Rocky Mountain region. The Colorado chapter sponsors annual holiday parties for Kalevala, St. Urho’s Day, May Day, Mid-Summer Day, Christmas; a newsletter several times per year (see below); language lessons; and other cultural or social events. This group is associated with the Finlandia Foundation National www.finlandiafoundation.org , the largest private source of support for Finnish culture in the United States . The chapter may also cosponsor events with the other Scandinavian societies in Colorado including the annual Scandinavian Ball in October each year. Membership is open to anyone interested in our purpose and events.
